Thank you, Sponsors!
Your presence and contribution is vital. This year, we host a diverse group of 225 physicians and nurses from 15 countries and 94 training institutions and hospitals. We are all united by a common goal: to enhance neonatal care for the youngest and most vulnerable among us. The academic program this year has 75 lectures and interactive skills workshops that span the spectrum of neonatology. We are grateful to offer advanced training opportunities, including simulation labs, procedure workshops, and opportunities to learn from each other. Embodying a model of collaboration, TFBS 2023 emphasizes the synergistic training of doctors and nurses. This union is crucial in developing and standardizing the clinical skills and protocols designed to improve outcomes for premature babies, especially in the African context. As we embark on this journey together, it is heartening to reflect on the rapid growth of neonatal knowledge and capacity building that is happening all across the African continent. The strides made in seeing low technology/ high impact interventions help small and vulnerable babies survive has been remarkable to witness. Small, premature babies can, and do, survive and achieve their full potential. It begins with every breath, no matter how small. Together, let us develop new relationships, learn new material, adopt new protocols, and strengthen our resolve to ensure that the tiniest feet can take the biggest steps towards a healthy future. Thank you for your dedication, your expertise, and your willingness to be part of this transformative training experience.
Yours Sincerely,
—
